Botanic Horticulture has been a member of Landscaping Victoria Master Landscapers for a number of years but has never entered the LVLM awards until this year.  In its awards debut, Botanic entered 3 categories, taking out first place in two, and a bronze in the third.

We were thrilled for Koreigh, who won Apprentice of the Year – Horticulture, Parks & Gardens.  Botanic nominated Koreigh for the outstanding work she performs and the potential she shows by her motivation, diligence and innate passion for horticulture.  Koreigh’s TAFE teacher added that she shows a quiet determination to achieve excellence, works independently often conducting her own research, supports & assists others in their work, and is a fantastic ambassador for this industry.

Team Botanic was also bestowed the Nic van Diemen award for our Canterbury project with the judges commenting, “This is a highly professional operation that is up to date with modern technology and high-tech equipment, especially in regard to sustainability. Their project entry displayed a great use of plants which is highlighted by the lawn species to the front and rear, and the bamboo planting down the side of the house. The quality of the workmanship shown through their pruning and lawn renovation in particular was very strong.”
